We came across a small creek with a mini waterfall.
At the end of the hike there are three ways you can choose to go back. 1) you can walk (most of these people are either incredibly fit after a 4 hour walk or plain crazy), 2) take this semi-rollercoaster train (which is the steepest railway in the world)...
... see, I didn't lie! ...
...or 3) the cable car (which had floor to ceiling windows to guarantee cool views of the panorama).
These trees in this Australian forest strangely resemble the ones in Ecuadorian cloud forests in South America.
I'm still trying to figure out what this mascot is supposed to represent, a bat, a tree, ??
My housemate Simone joined me for the hike. We had a blast !!
